On June 6th, the IMQS visited the sites of its Corporate Members: CDE Global and Dalradian Gold in Co Tyrone.
Twenty IMQS members participated on the Field Trip and were welcomed that morning by CDE Global at its recently opened global headquarters in Cookstown. CDE provided a presentation of its business: they are experts in mining and quarrying equipment and supplies to all the major mining regions in the world. The IMQS group was given a tour of CDE’s factory facility too where the company manufactures and dispatches its wet processing machinery.
In the afternoon, the group travelled to Dalradian Gold’s proposed mine development near Greencastle. Dalradian delivered a presentation on its work-to-date and provided a tour of its site and shaft. Dalradian is in the process of applying for planning permission to develop the gold mine.
We wish ongoing success to CDE Global in delivering its machinery and expertise to the global markets, and Dalradian Gold in its current planning applications to develop its deposit.
