He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Construction Management from the Technological University of the Shannon, along with a National Diploma in Highway and Traffic Engineering from the Athlone Institute of Technology. He is also an active member of the European Federation of Explosive Engineers, reflecting his commitment to professional development and upholding industry standards.

Ruairi began his career with Kemek (formerly Irish Industrial Explosives Ltd.) as a Technical Service Engineer. Over the years, he has progressed into a key leadership role and now serves as Area Manager for the West of Ireland. In this capacity, he oversees operations at Kemek’s regional depot, delivers technical services, and plays a key role in developing and managing customer relationships. His extensive technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and strong leadership have made him a trusted figure in the industry.
